Dhaka, Aug. 23 -- The Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board has blacklisted 71 examiners and chief examiners for five years over negligence in evaluating answer scripts of this year's SSC exams.
The decision bars them from serving as examiners, chief examiners or moderators in any public exam under the board during this period, reports bdnews24.com.
On Saturday, Prof SM Kamal Uddin Haidar, exam controller of the Dhaka board and convenor of the Inter-Education Board Examination Controller Committee, said the teachers' failures were confirmed during re-scrutiny of scripts.
"We found proof of negligence in evaluating SSC scripts. Hence, they were blacklisted," he said.
