Dhaka, June 8 -- Fifteen police personnel were honoured on Monday with cash rewards, commendation certificates and special service badges for their roles in cracking the widely discussed rape and murder case of seven-year-old Ramisa in Dhaka, solving a gang rape and murder case in Munshiganj, and preventing a major loss of life in a bus plunge into the Padma River.

The awards were presented by Home Affairs Minister Salahuddin Ahmed at a ceremony held at the conference room of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
