Dhaka, April 8 -- At least 11 more children have died from measles infections, including 10 suspected cases, in the 24 hours until Tuesday, with a rising number of new hospitalisations, according to health authorities.
Of the new casualties, eight were from Dhaka division. With this, 21 children have been confirmed dead from measles in the country since March 15. In the same period, 128 more children have died with measles symptoms.
The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), in its bulletin, said that during the same period, 1,236 patients with measles symptoms were admitted to various hospitals, including 224 new confirmed cases.
