Dhaka, Aug. 10 -- Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Administrator Md Shahjahan Mia on Saturday urged city dwellers to put waste into designated places to keep the city clean and tidy.
He also hinted at forming a Citizen Committee incorporating people of all social strata irrespective of political affiliation to address problems in the corporation.
He came up with the statements while inaugurating anti-mosquito drive and cleanliness campaign at Ward 66 under region eight of the corporation.
He said if city dwellers of each ward act responsibly, everyone will benefit from it.
A total of 600 individuals of DSCC's Waste Management and Health Departments took part in the cleanliness operation.
