'Infrastructure delays leave two-thirds of economic zone land non-operational'
Bangladesh, Aug. 10 -- Slow implementation of infrastructure and utility facilities in government economic zones has triggered a confidence crisis among industrial investors leaving nearly two-thirds of allocated land non-operational.

The observation was made in a meeting held between the leaders of Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) and Bangladesh Economic Zones Investors Association (BEJIA) on Monday at the BGMEA Complex in Uttara to boost the pace of new investments in economic zones and resolve existing infrastructural and policy issues for investors.
