New Delhi, Oct. 22 -- Players who already own an eligible Xbox game can test paying for streaming time without taking out Game Pass. Microsoft's new Cloud Playtime preview sells blocks of hours, giving occasional cloud players another bill to consider alongside the price of the game itself.

In its October 21 announcement, Microsoft lists introductory U.S. prices of $3.99 for 10 hours, $7.99 for 25 hours and $11.99 for 50 hours. The current test is for eligible Xbox Insiders without an active Game Pass subscription, not a general release for every player.

A new feature for XBOX Cloud Gaming will be available for XBOX Insiders starting today. Details are in the blog post linked here: https://t.co/9E6EC26VU2
