New Delhi, Aug. 2 -- NEW YORK - Vincent Pastore grew up in the Bronx, waited tables and worked in restaurants through the lean years, earned a drama degree from Pace University later than most of his peers would have attempted it, and spent the rest of his working life playing the kind of men he grew up around in the city he never left. He died there on Saturday, at his home in The Bronx, at 80.

His manager of more than three decades, Robert Attermann, confirmed the news to Fox News Digital on Saturday afternoon. Authorities found no indication of criminality at the scene; no cause of death was immediately released. He is survived by his daughter Renee.
