XAG/GBP gained three pence to hold at £50.10 per troy ounce - essentially unchanged - even as XAG/USD fell 0.33% to $64.23. The reason: the pound slid alongside the dollar's advance, and the two moves were nearly identical in magnitude, producing a near-zero change in the sterling price of silver.
