MOSCOW, July 29 -- They were between 14 and 18 years old. Russia's Investigative Committee said on Wednesday that 19 of them had been detained across ten regions of the country, charged with involvement in terrorist attacks and sabotage that, according to Russian authorities, they were recruited into through a Telegram dating application the committee says was operated by Ukrainian intelligence.

Investigative Committee spokeswoman Svetlana Petrenko announced the detentions in a statement to RIA Novosti.
