Oil Prices Today, August 22, 2026: Brent Near $94 and Frozen Until Monday
DUBAI, Aug. 22 -- Oil prices today are not moving, and that is not because the market has run out of things to worry about. It is Saturday. Crude does not trade, so the number on every screen is Friday's close, and it will sit there until Monday morning.
What it is sitting at is the highest level since July. Brent settled at $93.78 a barrel after touching $94.24 during the session, and it has now put together two consecutive weekly gains of roughly six percent each.
