New Delhi, Oct. 22 -- Lea Michele is in talks to play Rachel Berry again in the Glee revival ordered by Disney+ and Hulu, putting the actress who led the original musical comedy among the first names publicly linked to its return. A deal has not been announced, and the streamers' series order did not include a cast list.

Deadline reported that Michele was negotiating to reprise the role that made her a television star. The outlet also reported that Matthew Morrison, who played teacher Will Schuester, was not in talks at that point, although he was hopeful of participating. Neither report establishes who else will join the new series.
