New Delhi, Aug. 9 -- Tehran is not negotiating from weakness, and the Strait is not opening soon.

Mohammad Bagher Zolghadr, secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council and commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, issued the conditions on Saturday as Times of Israel reported. The list runs to seven items, each of which represents a demand the United States has not met from any adversary in living memory. Together, they amount to a comprehensive settlement of the entire Iran-US conflict, framed not as an end goal but as the price of permitting oil tankers through 21 miles of water.
