Half of Germany's Top Earners Explored Jobs Abroad Last Year, Survey Finds
New Delhi, July 19 -- BERLIN - More than half of Germany's highest earners, professionals who take home more than 6,000 euros per month after tax, actively explored job opportunities outside the country over the past 12 months, according to a new survey by the employment platform Indeed. The finding arrives as Germany records its sharpest net annual emigration in nearly a decade.
The survey, conducted by Indeed economist Virginia Sodergell and her team, found that 54 percent of respondents in the top earner bracket had looked into positions abroad in the previous year.
