New Delhi, July 21 -- Walt Disney Co. is eliminating several hundred positions across its studio and sports media divisions, calling the cuts corporate streamlining in what has become the third distinct round of layoffs the entertainment conglomerate has executed in 2026. Pixar Animation Studios is bearing the largest share of the reductions. ESPN is undergoing a parallel restructuring tied to its absorption of the NFL Network, which Disney acquired earlier this year.
