New Delhi, April 27 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday praised India's performance at an international cheese competition in Brazil, calling it a proud moment for the country's dairy sector and traditional food heritage.
Speaking during the 133rd episode of Mann Ki Baat, the Prime Minister highlighted how Indian cheesemakers made a strong global debut at the Mundial do Queijo do Brasil, held in São Paulo.
India secured top honours at the competition, including one Super Gold, two Gold medals, and one Silver. Over 30 countries participated in the event, where entries were judged by a panel of 350 experts.
