Yanga, Simba face key tests as Mainland league action rolls on
Tanzania, Aug. 31 -- Dar es Salaam. The early Mainland Tanzania Premier League title race is already shaping into a two-horse contest, with defending champions Young Africans (Yanga) and rivals Simba separated only by goal difference after four matches.
Both giants have collected maximum 12 points, but Yanga occupy top spot after scoring 13 goals and conceding just two, giving them a goal difference of plus 11. Simba are second with seven goals scored and two conceded, leaving them with a plus-five goal difference.
