Tanzania, April 1 -- Dar es Salaam. Tanzanian music superstar Diamond Platnumz has outlined plans to nurture fresh talent at his Wasafi record label as part of a broader strategy to strengthen the country's music industry.

Speaking exclusively on his own Wasafi FM, Diamond said the label, officially known as Wasafi Classic Baby (WCB), will introduce at least two new artistes by July, with the possibility of adding a third later in the year.

Founded in 2015, WCB has grown into one of East Africa's most influential music labels, playing a key role in shaping the modern Bongo Flava sound and exporting Tanzanian music to global audiences.
