Tanzania, April 23 -- Dar es Salaam. The Tanzania national U-20 women's team, Tanzanite Queens, head coach Bakari Shime has named a 27-player squad ahead of the crucial 2026 FIFA Women's World Cup qualifying matches against Cameroon women's national football team.

The first leg will be played in Yaounde, Cameroon on May 2, while the return leg is scheduled for May 10 at the New Amaan Stadium in Zanzibar.

The squad blends promising young talents with players already exposed to competitive domestic and international football. Preparations are already underway as the team enters camp for what is expected to be a demanding two-legged tie.
