Tanzania targets Feassa glory as EADB injects sh240m into Games
Tanzania, Aug. 18 -- Dar es Salaam. Tanzania is seeking to make the most of home advantage at the 23rd Federation of East Africa Secondary Schools Sports Association (FEASSA) Games, with the regional competition receiving a major boost through a $90,000 (about Sh234 million) sponsorship from the East African Development Bank (EADB).
The games, which are currently underway in Morogoro, have attracted 413 teams and 5,548 participants from across East Africa competing in 51 sporting disciplines. The competition will run until August 22.
