New TFS recruits warned over unauthorised absence
Tanzania, Sept. 15 -- Dodoma. Tanzania Forest Services (TFS) has warned 328 newly recruited employees that leaving their assigned duty stations without permission could result in disciplinary action.
Deputy Conservation Commissioner for Support Services and Administration, Mr Emmanuel Kiboko, issued the warning on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, during an induction programme for the recruits in Dodoma.
He said the employees had seven days from receiving their appointment letters to report to their assigned stations, while station heads were required to confirm their arrival and assign them duties.
"If you leave your duty station without following the required procedures, you could face disciplinary action for absenteeism," he said.
