Tanzania, May 11 -- Arusha. Many women entrepreneurs, including small and medium enterprise (SME) operators across Africa and other developing countries, continue to face structural barriers that prevent them from fully participating in economic activities through formal financial systems.
Strengthening proportional policies and expanding the use of financial technology have been identified as key solutions to address challenges facing women, particularly limited access to credit due to lack of collateral and insufficient asset ownership.
