Tanzania, July 23 -- Mwanza. As Tanzania moves to increase local participation in mining procurement to 90 percent, Barrick Mining Corporation Tanzania has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Tanzanians through local content initiatives under the Twiga Minerals joint venture with the government.

The company said it would continue creating opportunities through local procurement, employment and skills development as the mining sector expands.
