Bangladesh, Sept. 20 -- Turkish Airlines celebrated 15 years of operations in Bangladesh by supporting the Turkish Airlines Half Marathon 2026, which drew about 5,000 runners from Bangladesh and overseas at Hatirjheel in the capital.

Organized by fitness and sports event platform ActivePulse, the race combined a focus on physical well-being with the airline's anniversary celebrations, highlighting its long-standing links between Bangladesh, Turkiye and destinations across its international network.

Islam Gure, general manager of Turkish Airlines, attended the event as chief guest and spoke about the airline's relationship with Bangladesh beyond its aviation operations.
