SalamAir posts improved on-time performance in Q2 2026
Bangladesh, July 9 -- Oman's low-cost carrier SalamAir recorded an on-time performance (OTP) of 80.01 percent in the second quarter of 2026, reflecting a 15.01-percentage-point improvement from the previous quarter as the airline continued expanding its fleet and route network.
Between April and June, SalamAir operated 5,723 flights and carried 634,415 passengers across its domestic and international destinations. OTP, an internationally recognized aviation performance indicator, measures the percentage of flights departing within 15 minutes of their scheduled departure time.
