Bangladesh, June 17 -- Hanif secured 178 votes to win the top post in the country's apex body representing tour operators, while his opponent, Md. Taslim Amin Shovon, received 144 votes.

Syed Shafat Uddin Ahmed Tomal was elected First Vice President with 163 votes, while Md. Moinul Islam won the post of Vice President-1 after securing 240 votes. Ziaur Rahman Zakir was elected Vice President-2 with 176 votes.

Among other elected office-bearers, Zahir Ahmed Helal was elected Director (Finance), Md. Firozul Islam Director (International), and Md. Abul Baset Babu Director (Trade and Fair).
