Dhaka, Sept. 29 -- German flag carrier Lufthansa has introduced a special livery on a new Boeing 787-9 aircraft to mark its upcoming 100th anniversary in 2026.
The aircraft, bearing the registration D-ABPU, was recently painted at Boeing's facility in Charleston, South Carolina.
It is expected to be delivered to Lufthansa's Frankfurt hub in November, with entry into commercial service scheduled for December.
The centennial livery forms part of a broader campaign to commemorate the airline's founding in 1926.
