Dhaka, Aug. 26 -- The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art, the $1-billion project by filmmaker George Lucas and Melody Hobson, is taking shape in Los Angeles' Exposition Park and is set to open in 2026.
Designed by MAD Architects, the five-storey, starship-like building features over 10,000 pieces of narrative art, sustainable design elements, galleries, cinemas, a library, cafes, and a rooftop terrace.
Lucas describes the museum as "a temple to the people," showcasing works by artists including Norman Rockwell, Diego Rivera, Dorothea Lange, and Frida Kahlo.
The museum will join other cultural landmarks in the park, cementing its role as a major Los Angeles attraction.
