Bangladesh, May 27 -- The opening ceremony was held May 22. Hong Kong Airlines became the first carrier to relocate, shifting its check-in to T2 on May 27. Greater Bay Airlines will follow on June 3, and HK Express on June 10, with the remaining carriers, including selected Cathay Pacific flights, completing the transition shortly after.

The 15 airlines primarily operate short-haul and regional routes. Passengers checking in at T2 will board from Terminal 1, using the Automated People Mover connecting the two buildings.
