Bangladesh, June 4 -- Emirates has promoted two accomplished Emirati pilots, Hanan Mohammed Jawad and Bakhita Al Mheiri, to the rank of captain, marking a historic milestone for both the airline and the UAE aviation sector. They have become the first Emirati female captains in Emirates' history, both serving on the airline's Boeing 777 fleet.

The achievement reflects Emirates' continued commitment to empowering Emirati women and developing national talent in aviation through its renowned National Cadet Pilot Programme.
