Bangladesh, Sept. 30 -- Crowne Plaza Dhaka Airport has received a World Travel Award at the 2026 regional ceremony, bringing international recognition to the hotel and Bangladesh's hospitality sector.

The award was presented at the World Travel Awards Asia, Oceania and Indian Ocean Gala Ceremony in the Maldives on September 27. The event brought together companies and organizations from the travel, tourism and hospitality industries across the regions.

Established in 1993, the World Travel Awards recognizes businesses and destinations across the global tourism and hospitality sectors. Regional winners advance through the organization's annual awards program toward the Grand Final.
