Bangladesh, June 23 -- The issue was discussed during a courtesy meeting between Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Afroza Khanam and Italian Ambassador to Bangladesh Antonio Alessandro at the Bangladesh Secretariat on June 22, said a press release.

During the meeting, the minister emphasized the need to enhance air connectivity between Bangladesh and Italy, noting that a larger number of flights would benefit the sizeable Bangladeshi diaspora living in Italy and facilitate smoother travel between the two countries.

In response, Ambassador Alessandro assured that the matter would be examined and that appropriate measures would be explored to improve flight connectivity between Bangladesh and Italy.
