Dhaka, May 8 -- Bangladesh has called for stronger global cooperation to protect migrant rights, curb irregular migration, reduce migration costs, ensure fair wages, strengthen accountability, and expand migrants' access to justice at a United Nations forum in New York.
Speaking at the general debate of the International Migration Review Forum held at the United Nations headquarters, Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Ariful Haque Chowdhury said Bangladesh is enhancing accountability and ensuring justice for migrants through a "whole-of-government and whole-of-society" approach.
