Bangladesh, July 6 -- Pakistan High Commissioner to Bangladesh Imran Haider paid a courtesy call on Health and Family Welfare Minister Sardar Md. Sakhawat Husain on July 6. The meeting focused on exploring mutually beneficial avenues of cooperation in the health sector.

According to a social media post from the Pakistan High Commission in Bangladesh, the high commissioner briefed the minister on the advanced and cost-effective medical facilities available in Pakistan.

He highlighted the growing number of Bangladeshi patients seeking treatment there, citing lower-cost quality medical services, direct air connectivity, and cultural and familial affinities.
