Bangladesh, June 9 -- The issue was discussed during a courtesy call by Dutch Ambassador to Bangladesh Joris van Bommel on State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shama Obaed Islam at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Dhaka on June 9, read a foreign ministry release.

Dominique Kuhling, Director for Asia and Oceania at the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who is on a visit to Bangladesh from June 8 to 10, also attended the meeting.

According to the foreign ministry, the two sides held wide-ranging discussions on migration cooperation, human capital development, women's empowerment, semiconductor technology, education, sports, and people-to-people exchanges, alongside political and economic issues.
