Bangladesh, July 7 -- The issue featured prominently during a meeting between the Ambassador of Bangladesh to Nepal Md. Shafiqur Rahman and Nepal's Vice-Chair of the National Planning Commission, Dr. Gunakar Bhatta, at the commission's office in Kathmandu on July 7.

According to the Bangladesh Embassy in Nepal, the two sides held wide-ranging discussions on expanding cooperation in connectivity, trade and investment, development planning, cultural exchanges, and people-to-people contacts.

They also exchanged views on working together to ensure a smooth graduation from the Least Developed Country (LDC) category, recognizing the importance of closer regional cooperation in addressing common development challenges.
