Bangladesh, May 20 -- The issues came up during a meeting between Bangladesh State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shama Obaed Islam and Morocco's Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita in Rabat on May 19, read a press release.

During the meeting, the two leaders highlighted the importance of sustained high-level exchanges in advancing political relations and expanding cooperation in diverse sectors.

They reaffirmed their commitment to further consolidating Bangladesh-Morocco ties in areas including education, women's empowerment, sports, culture, and agriculture, alongside trade and investment, textiles, pharmaceuticals, ceramics, and shipbuilding.
