Bangladesh, Oct. 6 -- Bangladesh has urged Indonesia to restore the visa-on-arrival facility for Bangladeshi nationals as part of a set of proposals aimed at strengthening bilateral ties between the two countries.

The proposal was made by State Minister for Foreign Affairs Humaiun Kobir during a bilateral meeting with Indonesian Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs Anis Matta at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the capital on October 6, according to a press release.

Kobir placed five specific proposals to deepen relations between Bangladesh and Indonesia, with the restoration of visa-on-arrival for Bangladeshi travelers in Indonesia among them.
