India, July 23 -- The Haryana State Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau (SV&ACB) has prepared a list of 140 officers and employees across the state who have allegedly been the subject of repeated complaints of demanding bribes to perform official duties.

The list was reviewed during a meeting chaired by SV&ACB Director General Arshinder Singh Chawla with superintendents of police, range officers and bureau personnel at the headquarters in Panchkula.

According to an official statement, the meeting reviewed the progress of ongoing anti-corruption campaigns and discussed strategies to strengthen enforcement, improve public participation, enhance the use of technology and boost public confidence in the Bureau.
