New Delhi, June 17 -- Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has secured a multi-year contract from Norway-headquartered packaging company Elopak ASA to modernise and manage its global IT operations using artificial intelligence, automation and cloud technologies.
Under the agreement, TCS will serve as Elopak's strategic IT partner and oversee the transformation of the company's global IT landscape through a process-centric operating model aimed at improving operational efficiency, agility and digital experience across the organisation. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
As part of the engagement, TCS will deploy its proprietary AI-powered service delivery platform Cognix, which provides advanced analytics and automation capabilities based on the company's Machine First approach. The programme will also involve the creation of an integrated service desk and upgrades to key enterprise applications.
Elopak, which operates in more than 40 countries and serves customers across over 70 markets, is pursuing a broader digital modernisation strategy to support its 2030 growth ambitions and sustainability goals.
"Our partnership with TCS represents a significant step in advancing our digital ambitions and strengthening our global operations," said Merethe Johansen. The company expects AI-led IT modernisation to improve efficiency, enhance user experience and support business growth.
For TCS, the contract strengthens its footprint in the Nordic region, where the company has been expanding its presence through local offices and delivery centres across Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland.
"In an increasingly connected and intelligent business environment, enterprises need digital foundations that can continuously adapt and evolve," said Anupam Singhal. He added that the partnership would help Elopak modernise its IT operations through AI, automation and cloud technologies while supporting its sustainability objectives.
Amit Pethe said the engagement would "help build a resilient and intelligent IT ecosystem to support Elopak's long-term growth and competitiveness".
