New Delhi, June 3 -- Flexible workspace provider Table Space has appointed Ashwin Chandrasekar as Chief Information & Technology Officer (CITO), reinforcing its technology-led growth strategy as enterprise clients increasingly demand smarter, data-driven workplace solutions.
In his new role, Chandrasekar will lead the company's technology charter across enterprise data engineering, software development, automation, and IoT-enabled workplace infrastructure. He will also oversee end-user technology and digital workplace experiences, with a focus on improving operational efficiency and scaling business processes.
The appointment comes as managed workspace operators seek to differentiate themselves through technology, automation, and AI-powered services amid rising demand from large enterprises for flexible office solutions that offer greater visibility, personalization, and operational control.

Chandrasekar joins Table Space with nearly two decades of experience spanning technology leadership, digital transformation, AI, and product engineering. Most recently, he served as CTO at Third Wave Coffee, where he led software development, ERP, point-of-sale systems, data engineering, AI initiatives, and automation across more than 200 cafes.
Prior to that, he held technology leadership roles at companies including Amazon and Thoughtworks, contributing to global-scale products across e-commerce, mobile banking, and the Alexa ecosystem. He also founded Buybazaar, an early online grocery venture in Chennai.
The appointment underscores Table Space's efforts to deepen technology integration across its operations as it scales its enterprise workspace platform. The company said Chandrasekar will focus on embedding technology across every stage of the workplace journey, from access management and workflow automation to data-driven decision-making and intelligent workplace operations.
Founded in 2017, Table Space operates more than 11 million sq. ft. of managed workspace across over 80 centres in eight Indian cities. The company serves more than 425 enterprises, including several Fortune 50 and Fortune 500 companies, through its Workspace-as-a-Service (WaaS) model.
Industry observers say the appointment reflects a broader trend across commercial real estate and workspace operators, where technology leadership is becoming increasingly central to business strategy as enterprises seek AI-enabled, experience-driven workplaces rather than traditional office infrastructure.
