New Delhi, Sept. 15 -- Financial services firm Motilal Oswal Financial Services Ltd (MOFSL) has deployed Zoho's enterprise platform across its 15 business verticals, seeking to unify customer data and streamline sales and service operations.

The deployment covers more than 10,000 users across businesses including wealth management, mutual funds, portfolio management services, bonds, insurance, fixed deposits, investment advisory and initial public offerings.

.Zoho said its DataPrep platform processes more than 10 million customer records daily and about 1 billion rows of data every month for MOFSL. The scale of the deployment reflects a broader challenge for diversified financial services companies, where customer information is often spread across business-specific systems with different data structures and operating processes. For MOFSL, the objective was to bring this information together while retaining the governance and regulatory boundaries of individual businesses.

"Managing data across multiple internal systems, each structured differently and updated on its own schedule, and making it available to our Relationship Managers in a clean, consistent form every day is not a straightforward problem," said Raghava Shivalingegowda, Head of Products, Motilal Oswal Financial Services. "Zoho enabled us to build a reliable data pipeline at scale."

The company's relationship managers now have access to a daily-refreshed Customer 360 view, which MOFSL said helps them identify customer opportunities and improve interactions.

The deployment uses Zoho CRM Plus as the foundation for customer engagement, sales and service operations. Zoho CRM supports the sales lifecycle, including relationship management and cross-selling and upselling across MOFSL's financial products. Zoho Desk is being used for customer support, with case management and workflow automation.

The deployment also includes Zoho DataPrep for data transformation, Zoho Cliq for enterprise collaboration and Zoho Directory for identity and access management.

DataPrep consolidates information from multiple enterprise systems and prepares and synchronises it for use across applications. According to Zoho, this has enabled MOFSL to create a unified customer data layer while allowing individual business units to maintain their respective governance requirements.

The company said the platform was selected after multiple proof-of-concept demonstrations, during which MOFSL evaluated its flexibility and mobile capabilities against its existing systems. The implementation was delivered in phases in partnership with Fristine Infotech.

For a financial services company operating across multiple regulated businesses, the deployment also puts emphasis on data boundaries and access management. Zoho Directory is being used to automate user provisioning and manage access across enterprise applications, while Cliq provides a dedicated collaboration environment aligned with MOFSL's governance requirements.

Zoho CEO Mani Vembu said the deployment demonstrates how a unified platform can address operational complexity and fragmented data as financial services organisations scale.

The companies did not disclose the financial value of the deployment.
