New Delhi, March 5 -- Digital engineering and cloud transformation firm Mastek Limited on Thursday said its UK-based subsidiary has secured a framework engineering contract worth about £85 million (around Rs 1,038 crore) from the UK Home Office.

The contract, awarded to Mastek (UK) Ltd, will support the Home Office's Migration & Borders Technology Portfolio, the company said in a regulatory filing.

Under the agreement, Mastek will deploy specialist engineering teams to support, maintain and enhance ATLAS, the Home Office's flagship digital platform that manages visa and study routes, asylum casework, border force operations and immigration enforcement.

The engagement is expected to focus on improving the scalability and resilience of ATLAS through engineering upgrades, including the use of automation, artificial intelligence and platform modernisation tools.

"By embedding automation, AI, fraud reduction techniques and platform modernisation, we continue to deliver secure, compliant and resilient services at national scale," said Abhishek Singh.

The project will also seek to make ATLAS's core components more scalable using AI-led engineering accelerators, helping the Home Office manage increasing volumes of immigration and border-related processes.

Mastek said it expects the contract to contribute significantly to growth over the coming years, as the Home Office rolls out several complex policy initiatives through the ATLAS platform.

Headquartered in India, Mastek provides digital engineering, cloud and data services to enterprises and government agencies globally. The company operates in more than 40 countries and employs nearly 5,000 people worldwide.

Its technology partnerships include major platforms such as Oracle Corporation, Salesforce, Microsoft, Amazon Web Services, Snowflake Inc. and Databricks, serving clients across sectors including public sector, healthcare, retail, manufacturing, higher education and financial services.
