Google partners with Reliance to offer AI Pro for free
Reliance Industries Limited, through its subsidiary Reliance Intelligence Limited, has entered into a strategic partnership with Google to expand the use of artificial intelligence (AI) across India. The collaboration focuses on making AI tools accessible to consumers, enterprises, and developers, aligning with Reliance's vision of "AI for All." Under the partnership, Google will offer its AI Pro plan to eligible Jio users at no cost for 18 months. The plan includes access to Google's latest Gemini 2.5 Pro model, image and video generation tools such as Nano Banana and Veo 3.1, Notebook LM for study and research, and 2 TB of cloud storage. LTIMindtree has announced a multi-year partnership with a US-based leading global manufacturer of chemicals and polymers in a deal worth over $100 million. The Mumbai-headquartered firm has not revealed the name of the manufacturer. Under this agreement, LTIMindtree will deliver IT services, encompassing core Business Applications, Infrastructure Operations, End User Support, Software Asset governance, and Project execution. Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has partnered with Google Cloud to launch the Google Cloud Gemini Experience Center (GEC) in Riyadh. The facility, located within the TCS Pace Studio, aims to promote the use of AI and Gen AI across the Middle East and Africa (MEA). The collaboration combines TCS's industry experience in AI with Google Cloud's computing infrastructure and platforms. Just 10 days after Amazon Web Services (AWS) was stuck with a major disruption, Microsoft's cloud arm suffered an outage last night. Tracking portal Downdetector showed that Microsoft Azure's users faced issues with Outlook connectivity and add-ins, Microsoft Copilot functionality, and Microsoft 365 Admin Center access. Additionally, Minecraft login and Xbox Live multiplayer and account services faced disruptions, too. The recent Microsoft Azure outage occurred due to a misconfiguration in its global infrastructure, specifically within the Azure Front Door (AFD) network - the content delivery and edge application layer that routes traffic across Microsoft's cloud. Mercedes-Benz teams up with Zoho to digitise its dealer management system
Mercedes-Benz India has launched an end-to-end dealer management system (DMS) co-developed with Zoho. The new platform, dubbed SKYLine, is a decentralised dealer management system to enhance customer experience by modernising its dealership network. The system allows each dealership to operate independently, yet adhere to centrally defined standards through real-time data and streamlined workflows. Built on Zoho CRM and implemented by the company's Enterprise Business Solutions (EBS) team, SKYLine is a Made in India, for India platform designed to digitise and unify the entire customer journey-from vehicle booking to delivery. The system is now live across all Mercedes-Benz dealerships in the country.
