New Delhi, Sept. 15 -- Invenia-STL Networks has secured a Rs.360 crore contract from PowerGrid Teleservices, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL).
Under the agreement, Invenia will design, build, commission, and maintain the IT and cloud infrastructure for a greenfield Tier III data centre at PowerGrid's Manesar facility. In addition, Invenia will establish a Disaster Recovery Data Centre (DRDC) and deliver a scalable Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) solution complemented by Disaster Recovery Services. The contract includes Operation & Maintenance (O&M), ensuring the long-term performance and operational readiness of the data center.
"We are proud to partner with PowerGrid Teleservices on a state-of-the-art Tier III facility that will not only address current requirements but also anticipate future demand for cloud and disaster recovery services. Backed by our deep domain expertise, stringent compliance, and advanced system integration capabilities, we are delivering a solution that blends reliability with agility," said , Pankaj Malik, Chief Executive Officer, Invenia.
To be sure, earlier this month, Invenia was listed on the two bourses - the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) and BSE Limited (BSE), today, following its strategic demerger from STL - Sterlite Technologies Ltd. It preceded Invenia's demerger from STL's global services business.
While STL continues to focus on its core optical networking and Data Centre portfolio, STL's erstwhile Global Services Business, rebranded as Invenia - STL Networks, is focused on scaling its system integration (Network, Data Centre, Cloud, and Cybersecurity), connectivity, and managed services portfolio across telecom, enterprise, and public sector domains. In its financial results for the year ending March 31, 2025, STL Networks-Invenia reported a revenue of Rs.1,180 crore, an EBITDA of Rs.81 crore, and a strong open order book of over Rs.4,249 crore.
