New Delhi, Aug. 20 -- Infosys Finacle, part of EdgeVerve Systems and a subsidiary of Infosys, has announced the completion of a core and digital banking migration for Uniting Financial Services (UFS), a charitable development fund in Australia. The transition to Finacle's Digital Banking Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform on Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud was completed in less than five months.

The migration was supported by the Finacle Australian Reference Bank Model, which provides preconfigured products, processes, interfaces, and compliance features. With the new setup, UFS now operates on Finacle Core Banking, Digital Engagement Hub, Online and Mobile Banking, Customer Data Hub, and Alerts.

According to Infosys Finacle, the shift enables UFS to manage its operations more efficiently, expand its investment products, scale deposits, and strengthen its commercial loan business. The system also allows UFS to deliver mobile and online services through self-service channels. In addition, open API capabilities will help the fund connect with partners and introduce new offerings more easily.

The platform is hosted on AWS and makes use of services such as Amazon RDS for databases, Amazon EKS for Kubernetes management, and AWS WAF for firewall protection. The companies stated that the cloud-native model will provide scalability, performance, and resilience while supporting regulatory compliance.

John McComb, Chief Risk Officer and Acting CEO, Uniting Financial Services, said: "Our goal was to modernise our core banking and digital capabilities to enhance the experience for clients. With Infosys Finacle, we have found a long-term technology partner, with the ability to deliver a future-ready platform that meets the needs of our operations today and supports our ambitions for tomorrow in a rapidly evolving financial services landscape."

Sajit Vijayakumar, Chief Executive Officer, Infosys Finacle, said, "Going live on Finacle SaaS in record time is a testament to our commitment to modern banking and customer-centric innovation. This rapid deployment underscores the power of a truly digital, cloud-native platform that's built for agility, compliance, and scale."
