New Delhi, Jan. 12 -- Infosys, an IT services provider, has announced the launch of a new AI-powered chatbot in collaboration with the ATP, the governing body of men's professional tennis. Alongside the launch, the two organizations confirmed an extension of their long-term digital partnership through 2028.

The newly launched chatbot, called Ally, is designed to provide real-time tennis information through a conversational interface. It can respond to queries related to match statistics, tournament schedules, draws, player records, rankings, and historical performance data. The tool is intended for a broad user base that includes fans, journalists, players, and coaches seeking structured and verified data.

Ally is built on Infosys Topaz, the company's enterprise AI platform that uses generative AI technologies. The chatbot is integrated with the ATP Stats Centre, enabling it to pull from official data sources. The system includes safeguards such as content moderation, removal of personally identifiable information, and contextual checks to reduce the risk of inaccurate responses. According to Infosys and the ATP, Ally is designed to refine its outputs over time through continuous learning processes.

The announcement also highlighted progress on other digital initiatives under the partnership. In 2025, Infosys and the ATP released an updated version of Carbon Tracker, a platform that enables players to measure emissions associated with tour-related travel. Since its launch in 2023, the tool has been utilized by over 300 players.
