New Delhi, June 25 -- In a move that reinforces its Artificial Intelligence-first strategy, Hexaware Technologies has partnered with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to become an official distributor of Anthropic models via Amazon Bedrock.
The Mumbai-based IT services provider joins a select group of global companies to sell, integrate, and support Claude models, Hexaware said in a press statement.
The firm will offer Claude-powered solutions across key use cases, including intelligent document processing, automated compliance, advanced customer service, clinical data summarisation, supply chain intelligence, and AI-assisted software engineering, among others.
Hexaware will scale these Claude-first solutions for clients, prioritising AI in the software development life cycle (SDLC), private equity transformation, and cybersecurity. The company has also established a dedicated AI Centre of Excellence (CoE) to support its AI strategy, architecture, and implementation across its global delivery network.
"This authorisation reflects the Foundational AI capability that we've built and the trust our clients have placed in us. Claude's safety-first design is what highly-regulated industries need, and Hexaware has the domain knowledge, engineering excellence, and delivery scale to take it from a model to a working solution," said Siddharth Dhar, President & Global Head-Digital IT Operations & AI, Hexaware.
Claude, developed by Anthropic, is known for its high performance, advanced methodology, and substantial context window, making it particularly suitable for high-stakes, highly regulated industries.
Hexaware plans to leverage its existing domain expertise to deploy these models across sectors such as financial services, healthcare, transportation, manufacturing, and retail, the statement said.
For customers, this ensures a streamlined, enterprise-grade availability of Claude models on Amazon Bedrock, alongside end-to-end delivery that combines integration services, global team deployment, and change management to transition AI models into fully operational business solutions.
Additionally, it offers responsible AI governance by combining Anthropic's safety-focused design with Hexaware's governance frameworks for secure deployment in sensitive environments.
Clients also gain access to scalable customisation through tailored deployments utilising Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), custom prompts, and specific domain tuning, all managed under a unified commercial framework that provides consolidated billing, SLA-backed support, and single-point accountability.
The partnership adds to a growing trend among Indian IT services firms deepening their collaboration with Anthropic as enterprises accelerate the adoption of generative AI. Companies including TCS, Infosys, Cognizant and LTIMindtree have expanded their offerings around Claude models in recent months, integrating them into software engineering, customer operations, enterprise automation and industry-specific AI solutions.
