New Delhi, Aug. 12 -- Exotel, an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered customer experience solutions provider, has launched *Exotel AgentStream*, a real-time voice streaming platform aimed at enhancing AI-powered voice agents. The new API enables developers to integrate AI bots seamlessly with users across PSTN, WhatsApp, in-app channels, and WebRTC, supporting a range of enterprise workflows including sales, customer support, collections, and service.

According to Exotel, AgentStream offers sub-20 millisecond latency, significantly lower than the industry average of 150 milliseconds, allowing AI bots to respond with near-human speed and improved conversational flow.

"Voice agents are on the rise, and most bot providers require a robust voice infrastructure to perform reliably," said Sachin Bhatia, Co-founder and Chief Growth Officer at Exotel. "Many voice bot-powered companies in India already use our compliant, high-performance voice streaming. Our low-latency infrastructure makes us a preferred choice for enterprises building next-generation, AI-powered voice experiences."

Exotel reports that voice streaming usage on its platform is growing at a rate of 25 per cent per month. Some of its largest clients handle more than 20 million conversations monthly using its services.

The company operates under a pan-India Unified License Virtual Network Operator (UL VNO) framework across 11 telecom circles, enabling it to provide compliant, bundled telephony services at scale. Its platform powers over 25 billion customer interactions annually for more than 7,000 enterprises, including Apollo 24|7, HDFC Securities, Future Generali, and JSW MG Motor.

With over 14 years in digital communications, Exotel has evolved into what it describes as India's only full-stack AI-powered customer engagement platform. It is expanding its operations beyond India to Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa, aiming to strengthen its role as a core infrastructure provider for AI-driven enterprise communications.
