New Delhi, Oct. 28 -- Cognizant, a global technology and consulting company, and Rubrik, a data security and AI operations firm, have announced an expanded partnership to launch a new global service called Business Resilience-as-a-Service (BRaaS).
The service offers a subscription-based, pay-as-you-go model designed to help organizations recover quickly from cyber incidents and ransomware attacks while aligning recovery efforts with key business goals.
The collaboration brings together Cognizant's expertise in cloud, infrastructure, and digital transformation with Rubrik's AI-driven data security platform. The companies aim to shift enterprises from reactive recovery strategies to proactive resilience, ensuring operations continue during cyber disruptions.
The launch comes as businesses increasingly adopt AI technologies, expanding IT infrastructure and, in turn, the potential attack surface for cyber threats. With the frequency and complexity of cyberattacks on the rise, rapid recovery and operational continuity have become essential.
The BRaaS offering integrates Rubrik's cyber resilience solutions with Cognizant's industry expertise to support compliance and strengthen overall resilience strategies. The unified framework is designed to simplify adoption, streamline recovery processes, and improve long-term operational continuity.
"The relentless pace of cyberattacks demands a fundamental shift from simple prevention to true resilience," said Bipul Sinha, CEO, Chairman, and Co-founder of Rubrik. "Bringing together Rubrik's AI and security platform with Cognizant's global delivery scale, our joint customers can quickly recover from cyber incidents with confidence - all with a flexible, consumption-based model."
Ravi Kumar S, CEO, Cognizant, said, "Through our partnership with Rubrik, we're helping clients move from reactive recovery to proactive resilience. Cognizant's cloud and infrastructure domain knowledge, deep industry expertise, and cross technology stack integration, alongside Rubrik."
