Sri Lanka, Oct. 26 -- The Sri Lanka Men's Rugby Team secured overall third place following an impressive performance at the Asia Rugby (AR) Emirates Sevens Series 2025 second leg played at the Racecourse Grounds in Colombo.
The Tuskers delivered a clinical performance to edge out China 19-14 in a thrilling playoff final played for the third and fourth places of this 12-team two-day tournament.
Sri Lanka of course, missed out a great opportunity of playing in the Cup Championship final as they were narrowly beaten 12-15 by a strong Japan outfit in the semi-final.
Sri Lanka launched their campaign with a convincing 26-14 victory over Uzbekistan and followed up with back-to-back wins against Singapore (22-5) and China (34-7) respectively....
